GENERAL INFORMATION

ITU competitionruleswillapply.

TRANSITION AREA

• Allequipment (helmetsandrunningshoes) must be in theappropriatebaskets.

SWIMMING

• Watertempraturewill be indicated on a board at theracecenter. wetsuit is allowed

• It is forbiddentotakeyourswimcapofffromthe start untilabout 5 metersafterthefinish.

• Youwill be Guidedfromthetransitionareatothe start.

• Wetsuitsareallowed.

• Is it  notallowedtoweartheracenumberduringtheswimmingsegment. Youhaveto put theracenumber in your basket in thetransitionarea.

CYLING

• Age groupolympicnondraft-ttbikeallowed

• Age group sprint draft legal-ttbike not allowed. AnyAero- bar is forbidden

HANDLE BARS SHELL COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING

• Onlytraditional “drophandle” bar arepermitted.

• “Clip-ons” will be permitted, providedthey do not extendmorethat 15 cm beyondthefront Wheel axle, andtheyare not longerthanthebrakeleversforemostline. Justfor OLYMPIC distance.

• Staightforwardclips-ons must be bridgedandmust not carryforwardfacingbrakelevers.

• Noforwardfacing bar on gearshiftersareallowed on the

end of the “clip-ons”. Theonlyexceptionwill be grip shifters.

• Elbowpadsarepermitted.

• AllCompetitorsmusthavetheirhelmetsecurelyfastenedfromthe time theyremovetheirbicyclefromtherack at the start of thecycleuntilaftertheyhaveplacedtheirbicycle on

rack at thefinish of thecycle.

• Endingthebikesegmentyoumustdismount in thespecialmarkeddismount – zone (10 mt).

RUNNING

• Thereare 2 refreshmentstations in each Lap.

• Sprint  distancecompetitorshavetofinishtheracebefore 10:30 hrs, Olympic distancecompetitors on thecourseafter 13:30 havetofinishtherace.

PROTEST JURY

• The protest jurywillmeat at theRace Center. A protest can be madebyanycompetitor.

• Any protest must be handedoverto a member of the protest jury in the form attachedand in English togetherwith a fee of 50 TL or 30 Euro.

• The protest must be filedwithingonehouraftercompletingorleavingthecourseorafterthe time of postingthedisqualification on theofficialnotice board in thefinisharea.

OTHERS

• Havingfinishedpleasekeepthefinisharearfeeforthefollowingcompetitorsand g oto therefresmentstation.

• It is not allowedtocutoraftertheracenumber. The logo of the sponsor mustalways be visible, Anyinfractionwillresult in immediatedisqualification.
